My Mother’s Day celebration was postponed this year. I had calls from my out-of-state children wishing me Happy Mother’s Day. But instead of doing something on the 2nd Sunday in May, my daughter made reservations for us, plus her grandmother, to have high tea at Queen Mary’s.
Years and years earlier she had a birthday party at Queen Mary’s. The birthday theme: High Tea! Not just with me, her grandmother, and best friend but American Girl Dolls were invited too!
If a tea shop isn’t close to you, let your kiddos pretend! Adding props and accessories to their pretend PLAY takes the PLAY to another level. Look at the following toy recommendation for a tea kettle and tea treats. Maybe you’d rather have cookies with your tea.
