In the Pacific Northwest July 4th is considered the beginning of Summer. Growing up Summer meant visiting my cousins in Arizona and Texas. Talk about sun, heat and fun! We'd play outside for a majority of the day and on into the night. To be able to live through all that heat, we had to have water. Lego mania or DUPLO delusions
I’m a huge fan of Lego as is my son. In fact, when he was a kidlet he knew just how to play his dear old Mother by just-so-happening to let me know when a new set was out and available. You know, like he was doing me a favor…. Fast forward a few decades, and there are literally thousands of Lego pieces in his PLAY attic. Some are still assembled in awesomeness. Tornadoes? Whatever happened to March coming in like a Lion and going out like a Lamb? It appears after yesterday’s report of a tornado—touching down in Monroe—I’d say the Lion is still here!
