Businesses that count families or parents as their customers or clients would do well to focus on meeting the needs of the children. Steer clear of the electronic screens. The American Academy of Pediatrics has taken a dramatic step in recommending pediatricians prescribe PLAY for children. Why Buy When You Can Rent?

Sure you can fill up toy boxes and corners of rooms with cheap toys. You know the ones I’m talking about. No I’m not going to say plastic toys, though I’d prefer toys made from natural materials. (Plastic toys can be useful for infants and toddlers especially for hygienic reasons.)

I’m pointing the finger at those replicas of characters from movies, video games and TV shows. Those toys come with predefined roles and story lines. They limit a child’s imagination and PLAY-ability. If you’re really interested in sparking your kiddo’s creativity and supporting their (natural) learning.
