Fire Chief Role Play Costume by Melissa & Doug
We had the firefighters come to visit the preschool every year. Not only did I feel it was a matter of safety for the children to become familiar with the way a firefighter would look should their homes ever become engulfed in flames, but everyone loves firefighters! So why not capitalize on that love affair and let your kidlet pretend (s)he is the local fire chief!

Melissa & Doug’s Fire Chief costume is easy to access with Velcro® closures AND has all the right detailing to make this pretend play as real as it can be! It stands up to the kind of ‘play’ firefighters ages 3-6 years old would be called on to make rushing to the scene of an emergency.
Specifics include:
●Red jacket—polyester/cotton blend, washable
●Helmet—adjustable inner ring to fit to head
●Fire extinguisher
●Bullhorn with sound effects—requires (2) AA batteries not included–maybe you just don’t want to ever get them…
●Badge
●Tag for name
Firefighters are heroes and BOTH boys AND girls want to be heroes! Whether you have a son or daughter they’ll have fun dressing up as Fire Chief!

The Melissa & Doug Fire Chief Role Play Costume gets a PLAY ON stamp of approval from the communities they serve! The only real drawback is the bullhorn…I’d have just let the kidlets use their voices to animate it.
Yours in Play!
